Gordon Corridor, one of many founders of Rockstar Leeds, has died, Video games Trade stories. He was 51.

Whereas at Rockstar Leeds, the studio developed Grand Theft Auto: Liberty Metropolis Tales, Vice Metropolis Tales, and Chinatown Wars. The studio was initially Möbius Leisure and was acquired by Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar’s mother or father firm, in 2004. The studio was rebranded Rockstar Leeds.

In keeping with Video games Trade, Corridor moved to Rockstar San Diego in 2009, lending his experience to Pink Lifeless Redemption. Nonetheless, the exec took a break between 2011 and 2013 to analysis the psychology behind microtransactions after which returned as Activision Blizzard Cell’s chief artistic officer.

“Gordon was merely good to be round, extremely motivating and ever optimistic,” Martyn Brown, enterprise growth at 5 Aces Publishing and co-founder of Workforce17, is quoted as saying.

“His pursuit of excellence was staggering and he shaped an ideal, trusting bond with those that selected to work (exhausting) alongside him. As a detailed pal, he was really inspirational and socially talking an actual energetic one-off who may endlessly entertain on the drop of a hat, holding everybody within the palm of his hand. Gordon can be very sadly missed.”
